Descended from a long line of vampire hunters, Hal Bergson realizes not all bloodthirsty creatures of the night are merciless killers. Still, he knows better than to trust one of them. His principles are tested, though, when his cousin, in training to follow their family's vocation, rashly tries to rescue a girl from a homicidal vampire, Conan MacEwan. Now both young people are trapped in Conan's lair, with their lives dependent on the whim of his appetite for blood and revenge. Hal sees one chance to save them. Monique Dubois, a female vampire Hal has spent months observing at very close range, seems to have a relationship with Conan. Hal drugs and imprisons her in hopes she will help him save the captives. Since the girl is Monique's favorite donor, she grudgingly agrees to join forces with Hal, even though his family has stalked her kind for generations. One problem—Monique is approaching the peak of her infrequent heat cycle. She needs to mate tonight, and no male vampire is near enough except Conan. She must turn to Hal for relief or risk an involuntary surrender to Conan's lust, no matter how much she detests the rogue vampire. Can Hal and Monique put aside their mutual distrust to share a night of passion? Can a mere mortal satisfy a vampire's sexual need? Before their rescue mission ends, they end up forging a deeper bond than either one expected or desired... |

Sequel to the critically acclaimed Wild Sorceress and Besieged Adept
Co-authored with Leslie Roy Carter
In the climactic sequel to Wild Sorceress and Besieged Adept, sorceresses Aetria and Coleni discover that both their own births and the history of their world have been manipulated in secret by an ancient, powerful race of dragons. Some, like Aetria’s “imaginary” childhood friend Rajii, have benevolent intentions toward humanity, while others want to restore the people of the Domains to total slavery. All, however, have their own agendas with human beings and mortal magic as pawns.
Emerging from their long-lost mother’s hidden home in the deserted Non-Lands, Aetria and Coleni find themselves targeted by assassins under control of the dragons. While the sisters’ powers continue to grow, so do the magical gifts of Coleni’s baby daughter, but will their magic provide adequate protection?
Meanwhile, still viewed with suspicion for their “wild sorcery,” they can’t convince most of their rivals and allies, including Aetria’s old mentor and the commanding general of the army, that the dragons and the danger they pose are real. Even Aetria’s lover Val shows some doubts. To protect her people, must Aetria challenge the whole Council of Magi and claim a leadership role she never wanted? And should she trust the two mysterious voices speaking in her head?

Alyce always spent her summer break at her aunt’s beach house. It was there that she met Dean — her first love. She thought Dean loved her as much as she loved him. Until the summer when they were eighteen and he vanished from her life. Just gone. No explanation, not even an email.
Alyce tucked away her memories of Dean, though she never forgot him. Three years later, her aunt did something that destroyed their relationship as well. She drugged and used Alyce in an arcane ritual that opened a portal into another dimension.
Now Alyce has inherited the house where she endured that terrifying night. She finds a recording of the eerie music from the dark rite. When she plays it, the portal opens again, and Dean returns. Their passion ignites, more intense than anything Alyce has ever known, but he’s no longer quite human. Dean has spent years in another dimension. Sinuous tentacles are only the most visible mark of his alien transformation. Who is he now? What is he?

Shannon's little boy Daniel has disturbing psychic powers. He talks to the wind—and it listens. All Shannon wants is a normal life. She wants to forget the cult of the Windwalker, a dark god from another dimension, and the terrifying night when her child was conceived.
But her first love, Nathan, son of the cult leader, contacts her for the first time since that horrific ceremony. He claims his father is stalking Shannon and Daniel.
Whose child is Daniel...Nathan's or the Windwalker's? Is her son fully human, or the spawn of a dark god from another realm? Are Daniel's powers and Shannon's surrealistic memories of the night of his conception fact or delusion? Nathan's father plans to use Daniel to open a gate between dimensions and unleash chaos on the world. But Shannon wonders if Nathan is on her and Daniel's side, or does his loyalty lay with his ruthless and demented father?
